The general public can now view homes from the comfort of their front room without needing the interaction with an estate agent. As expected, most people will make a decision to view a home based on what they see and read online which is why it is vital that your home stands out from its competitors.

Preparing your home for a successful sale is about two things. First, getting the price right and secondly, getting the marketing right.

It's worth putting some effort into the presentation of your home. Mostly it's obvious, clearing clutter and anything that looks out of place or untidy. If you feel the property is dated, don't panic. There's rarely a need to replace a kitchen or bathroom and even if you do go to that expense it could be that the buyer isn't that keen and ends up ripping it out the day after completion!
